Evaporator unit grate
The requirement: This air-conditioning piece retains and directs the condensation water droplets to prevent them from being projected through the dashboard's ventilators.
The METAL DEPLOYE solution : By working closely with our customer we were able to find a much better performing alternative than the product being used (woven wire).
What made this project a success was the shape of the mesh and wave shape of the grate, helped along by the expanded metal's mechanical performance, which meant it was possible to use a material that by nature is more malleable and economical than that of rival products.
