The requirement: The lattice making up the piece has to be able to be drawn very deeply without the meshes being covered over, be smooth to the touch without retaining the oil, be very well ventilated, enable welding, whilst remaining very economical.
The METAL DEPLOYE solution: Creating a flat very drawn out mesh, precisely designed for the dimensions desired and with a slight strip section solved the basket's primary functions.
By researching into what steel would suit such elongations combined with deep drawing made it possible to determine a grade for successful industrialization.
The welding too was made easier by using expanded metal which unlike wire lattice, has a section of uniform strand (no double section where the wires cross).
