Tisserands Car Park
Following an excellent collaboration in Grenoble with the leading project “Parking Le Doyen-Europole”, METAL DEPLOYE and the Architects Amplitude and Atelier A linked their expertise to clad the “Tisserands Car Park” (in Voiron) in colours. The powder coating in lively colours, gives this project a modern aspect, as promised by its surrounding urban environment.
A word from the Architect : “A parking project in the town centre is the occasion to create an urban focus of interest which adds to the architectural environment and takes over a space giving it an impulse of modernity and life. These cars which we cannot give up and which flood our towns, it is necessary to “stock” them in the most efficient way, in order to return the urban space back to the pedestrians. But parking your car and returning for it should be a relaxing experience, safe and not inhibiting. For these reasons we created a car park whose image is playful and poetic".
